Postpartum Support: A support group for women during pregnancy and the year following childbirth will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at Grace Episcopal Church. The free drop-in gathering, co-facilitated by Sarah Townsend and Francie Powell, offers women and partners an opportunity to discuss the emotional life of pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting. Narcotics Anonymous: Narcotics Anonymous meets Mondays at 7:30 p.m. and Fridays at 6 p.m. at the Rhododendron Apartments community center at 255 High School Road. Information: 842-2246 or (206) 794-3392.

Overeaters Anonymous: OA holds three weekly meetings, 9:15 a.m. Wednesdays, 9 a.m. Saturdays at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church, 105 Winslow Way and 7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays in the Singer Room of Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. OA is a 12-step program of recovery for all who suffer from compulsive overeating and other eating disorders. No dues, fees, or weigh-ins. Newcomers welcome. MENTAL ILLNESS HELP: NAMI-Kitsap sponsors a support group from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. Family members and friends of people who suffer from serious mental illness are invited to attend for support and education. Peer Support Group: Those diagnosed with mental illness can find support on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Helpline House. Information: Nancy, 842-7621 or Jane, (206) 898-6092.

VIP: The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons support group meets from 1 to 3 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Bainbridge Public Library. Information: 842-3551.

Caregivers Support: Caring for a loved one? Caregivers can be more stressed than those they are caring for. A no-charge, facilitated caregivers support group meets at 2 p.m. every Tuesday at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church. All are welcome (drop-ins are fine), and respite care may be arranged through Interfaith Volunteer Caregiving of Bainbridge Island.
