Several Bainbridge schools damaged in vandalism spree

Vandals sprayed graffiti on several buildings and roadways in the area of Bainbridge High School over the weekend, causing an estimated $3,000 in damage, according to a Bainbridge Police release.

Spray-painted tags were found at Bainbridge High School, Woodward Middle School, Ordway Elementary School and the Bainbridge Aquatic Center. Graffiti was also found at the intersection of High School Road and State Route 305, an access road off New Brooklyn Road and a Kitsap Transit bus shelter.

Police believe the vandalism occurred Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Many of the tags contained the letters “BSO” and the numbers 33 and 13.
