Residents on the north end of Bainbridge Island lost power at approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday as a gusty windstorm swept the region.

The Bainbridge Island Fire Department was also called out about 1 p.m. for a report of wires down on Manzanita Road near Jay Street.

Puget Sound Energy is reporting power outages throughout the Puget Sound region, including areas on Mercer Island, Bellevue and Mount Vernon.

PSE also said approximately 1,800 customers in Poulsbo lost power Saturday morning. Power has since been restored.
