Power out for north Bainbridge neighborhood

More than two dozen homes on Bainbridge Island near Fay Bainbridge Park lost power Saturday afternoon.

A total of 26 Puget Sound Energy customers west of Sunrise Drive NE were affected by the outage, according to the utility.

PSE said the cause of the outage, reported just before 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3, was due to an equipment failure.

Power is expected to be restored to the area by 5:30 p.m.
