Port Townsend author Sarah Chrisman will talk about her book “Victorian Secrets: What a Corset Taught Me About the Past, the Present, and Myself” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at Eagle Harbor Book Company.

Chrisman has been seen on Bainbridge Island in the last few years, wearing her Victorian attire. Her book was featured in The New York Times recently in an article about the resurgence of corsets.
