The Rev. Emmett H. Carroll, pastor of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island, passed away early Wednesday morning while in the hospital recovering from foot surgery.

He was 81.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, July 29 at St. Cecilia’s.
