Kitsap Public Health District said it has confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in the county.

At its 2 p.m. update Monday, the health district said a coronavirus test had found another North Kitsap resident has been infected with the disease, bringing the county’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 139.

Of the 139 cases, 38 have been reported in Bremerton, 36 in South Kitsap, 29 in North Kitsap, 25 in Central Kitsap and 11 on Bainbridge Island.

One death attributed to COVID-19 has been reported in Kitsap County.
