Nearly 300 homes on Bainbridge Island lost power early Tuesday night.

Puget Sound Energy reported approximately 272 customers in the Hidden Cove area were without electricity just after 6 p.m. Jan. 10.

Power was expected to be restored by 8:30 p.m.

Another smaller outage was affecting 15 homes near Manzanita. PSE hopes to have electricity restored by 9 p.m.

Other areas in North Kitsap also saw the lights go out Tuesday evening; outages were reported in neighborhoods in Kingston, Indianola and north Poulsbo.
