Land trust hosts low-tide walk

The Bainbridge Island Land Trust will host a low-tide and upland walk to the trust’s new shoreline preserve, which is not yet open to the public, on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The Bainbridge Island Land Trust will host a low-tide and upland walk to the trust’s new shoreline preserve, which is not yet open to the public, on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The two-mile walk is 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and includes incredible Olympic mountain vista views. Walkers can also learn more about this unique and undeveloped property on Bainbridge’s northwest shore.

The group will meet at the Rotary Gateway Park at Highway 305 and Seabold Road to join the walk or catch a shuttle.
