Kitsap Pride to hold drive-thru celebration Saturday

Celebration takes place noon-2 p.m. at Pendergast Park in Bremerton

Kitsap Pride, the local nonprofit organization that celebrates and supports the LGBTQ+ community, will be holding a drive-thru parade from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Pendergast Park in Bremerton.

The organization typically holds its walk-thru pride celebration at Evergreen-Rotary Park in Bremerton, but plans have since been changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This year, each participant can buy a “Pride in a Box” that is stuffed full of goods to help display their LGBTQ+ pride. Attendees can purchase their “Pride in a Box” for $20 and can pick it up at the event.

Additionally, the first 100 pride-decorated cars will get a special treat and free kid packs will be provided to the first 50 kids. Visit for more information.
