Islanders receive diplomas at WSU

Nine students from Bainbridge Island have been awarded undergraduate degrees following the spring 2014 semester at Washington State University.

Nine students from Bainbridge Island have been awarded undergraduate degrees following the spring 2014 semester at Washington State University.

The new graduates are Robert George Beavis, bachelor of arts in philosophy; Forrest J. Carlson, bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, cum laude; Chloe Nicole Dale, bachelor of arts in business administration, cum laude; Mallory Anne Farrar, bachelor of science in psychology, magna cum laude; Mary Colleen Gruber, bachelor of arts in business administration; Cera Elizabeth Rodriguez, bachelor of arts in English; Karen Ann McCauley Watts, bachelor of arts in history, cum laude; and Annie Dickens Zuckerman, bachelor of arts in education, summa cum laude.

Honors earned by students are summa cum laude for a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 or better, magna cum laude for a minimum GPA of 3.70, and cum laude for a minimum GPA of 3.50.
