Two students from Bainbridge Island were recently honored as standout scholars and were placed on the 2012 fall semester dean’s list at the University of Portland.

Micah Bobiak, a freshman majoring in business administration, and Bridget Sloat, a freshman majoring in biology, were named to the dean’s list.

Students need at least a 3.5 grade point average to be eligible for the dean’s list.
