Join West Sound Wildlife Shelter for “Growing up Safe and Prepared: Wild Encounters,” a special presentation at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21 at Kids Discovery Museum.

Children and their families will learn what to do when they meet their wildlife neighbors unexpectedly. The presentation is a part of a monthly program designed to make young visitors familiar with important safety and emergency preparedness issues in a relaxed atmosphere and a fun, familiar environment.

Each month the museum partners with local specialists to present a new subject. The program is made possible by BCF, PSE and Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island.

The program is free with admission or membership.
