The penultimate Classic Car Cruise-In of the summer roared and revved its way back to the grassy lawn of Bainbridge First Baptist Church, at the corner of Highway 305 and Madison Avenue, last week.

The Bainbridge Island Classic Car Cruise-In is a free public, informal gathering of cool cars and special interest vehicles from far and wide, collected in one spot for a good cause. With volunteers dishing out hamburgers and hot dog meals at $5 apiece, and all proceeds going to benefit Helpline House’s Project Backpack.

The event, which will return again from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29 , is organized by Aaron and Micah Strom of Modern Collision Rebuild & Service.

Visit www.bainbridgeislandcarshow.com for more information.

The Review’s own Luciano Marano was there, camera in hand, to capture all the cool cars. His favorite shots are collected here.
