City staff will provide an overview and ask for public input prior to beginning the design of the project.

The Olympic Drive project is expected to improve pedestrian and bicycle pathways near the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal.

The proposed design features a non-motorized pathway or sidewalk widening, accessibility improvements, bike lanes or sharrows (shared lane markings) and painted bike boxes.

The meeting will take place in council chambers from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29.
