Bainbridge council ward meetings start Saturday

Bainbridge Island residents will get the chance to meet their elected officials on their own turf in the coming weeks.

Bainbridge Island residents will get the chance to meet their elected officials on their own turf in the coming weeks.

Members of the Bainbridge Island City Council are planning their annual ward meetings, and invite residents to join them for a community conversation on important issues.

Ward meetings start this weekend and run through mid May.

The North Ward meeting with Mayor Val Tollefson, Councilman Kol Medina and Councilman Ron Peltier will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at Seabold Community Hall.

The Central Ward meeting with Councilman Wayne Roth, Councilman Michael Scott and Peltier is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 7 in council chambers at city hall.

The South Ward meeting with Deputy Mayor Sarah Blossom, Councilman Roger Townsend and Peltier is planned for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 14, at The Marketplace at Pleasant Beach.
