A big crowd descended on Sonoji Sakai Intermediate School for the 31st annual “National Night Out” on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

A big crowd descended on Sonoji Sakai Intermediate School for the 31st annual “National Night Out” on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

The event takes place annually on the first Tuesday in August to heighten awareness and strengthen local anti-crime efforts.

Night Out featured free family fun, food and games. Police Chief Matthew Hamner and City Manager Doug Schulze even took turns in a dunk tank.
