Tuesday, April 9

7:30 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a home on Fletcher Bay Road for a dispute between roommates. A man told police that his roommate, a woman, was angry with him for making too much noise that morning as he made coffee. The woman began yelling at him in response. She left the room, returned a short while later and pushed the man with both hands and told him she wanted him to move out. She then walked outside and called 911.

The man told police that the two previously had a relationship, but were only roommates now. The woman told police that the man was loud. As she tried to leave for the day, he blocked her exit so she pushed him aside. She thought from his demeanor he might get violent and she just wanted out. The man agreed to look for a new place to live. The two agreed to be nice.

3:35 p.m. A man reported that he has been receiving random phone calls in the middle of the night for about a year. Someone would call, not say anything, and hang up. The man tried to discover the number but it was private. He didn’t believe he had any enemies and didn’t believe it could be an ex-girlfriend. He said he didn’t want to change his phone number because his business relied on it.

Thursday, April 11

12:06 p.m. Police responded to reports of a man setting up camp in the stairwell behind the Chamber of Commerce office on Winslow Way. When police arrived, the man was gone. Instead, they found an old camcorder in a plastic bag and placed it into evidence.
