TUESDAY, JUNE 14

8:51 a.m. Police responded to a graffiti complaint near a private home on Ford Ward Hill Road.

Someone had spray-painted political messages near a house which had a sign in the yard supporting Donald Trump.

“Stump the Trump,” “Deport Trump,” “Make America Gay Again” and “Feel the Burn” were among the vandal’s messages.

The graffiti, approximately 20-30 feet in length and green in color, covered both lanes of the road in front of the home.

11:24 a.m. A 65-year-old Bainbridge Island woman reported a possible incident of fraud and theft. She said that her computer had been running slowly and, after receiving an alert that it may have a virus, she called the supplied number to have the issue resolved.

The person she called, “Nick Fury,” sold her a year’s worth of “Apple Care” for $272.04, which she paid for with a debit card over the phone.

The woman later called Apple and, fearing she may have been scammed, called the police. A report was made.
