10:06 a.m. A 48-year-old Bainbridge man reported the theft of a motorcycle license plate.

The theft occurred sometime between May 1 and May 2.

Thursday, April 30

3:05 p.m. A 48-year-old Bainbridge Island woman in a 2014 Ford Explorer was driving south on Highway 305 just north of Sportsman Club Road when she slowed for traffic and saw the motorcycle rider behind her lose control and lay down his bike on the roadway.

The motorcyclist, a 48-year-old Bainbridge man, slid underneath the Ford after falling.

He received left leg and knee injuries and was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
