Tuesday, June 3

12:09 p.m. Police received a report that a woman was a victim of computer trespass.

She received a call from a man who said that her computer was broken and could be fixed if she gave some personal information.

She provided him information and saw her computer be virtually manipulated. The man then charged her debit card $550. At this, she became nervous and called her son who contacted police. The woman canceled the charge and claimed fraud.

1:05 p.m. A Suquamish man was driving southbound on Madison Avenue approaching Beachcrest when he blacked out. He drove onto the shoulder and into two mailboxes.

He told police that it was the second time he blacked out that day. He said he was on prescribed medication.

Friday, June 6

10:25 a.m. Within the same week, two bicycles were stolen from a Bainbridge resident. The cyclist had parked the first bike at the ferry terminal around 3 p.m. on May 14. Six hours later, he found it gone.

The bicycle, a yellow Kuwahara mountain bike, was not locked.

Two days later, the cyclist parked his black-and-white Specialized Hardrock bicycle at the high school softball fields. It was gone when he returned. It was also not locked.

7:57 p.m. Two women who are neighbors got into a verbal dispute over one of the women’s boyfriend. The first woman did not approve of the relationship.

She told police that the other woman was “basically a prostitute,” and had numerous men visit her. She said that she was documenting everything for their landlord.
