TUESDAY, APRIL 19

9:10 a.m. An 89-year-old Poulsbo man in a 2015 Subaru was cited for inattentive driving after he was driving north on Madison Avenue and hit a 45-year-old Suquamish woman in a 2015 Honda Odyssey.

The woman was going east on Winslow Way through the intersection while the man was heading north on Madison Avenue. The man said he didn’t see the Honda and collided with the van when he entered the intersection.

MONDAY, APRIL 18

9:40 a.m. A driver in a 2006 Dodge struck a 2001 Jeep Cherokee while backing out of a parking space near the high school on High School Road. A witness heard the collision and wrote down the vehicle’s license number.

The driver left the scene and later said he was unaware he had hit another vehicle.

2:30 p.m. A 70-year-old Bainbridge woman in a 2001 Honda CRV was traveling south on Eagle Harbor Drive toward McDonald Avenue when a deer ran out in front of her and into the passenger side of her vehicle. The woman said the injured animal kept going.

3:53 p.m. A 50-year-old Bainbridge woman in a 2013 Volkswagen was driving west on High School Road and rear-ended a 1994 Honda driven by a 79-year-old Bainbridge woman.

The second driver was waiting to turn near Madison Avenue when she was hit by the other vehicle. The driver of the Volkswagen was cited for inattentive driving.
