‘3-D Thursdays’ starting soon at the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum

The Bainbridge Island Historical Museum is encouraging islanders to rummage through their attics, open those dusty boxes in storage and drag out their family photo albums for “3-D Thursdays” at the museum in May.

The Bainbridge Island Historical Museum is encouraging islanders to rummage through their attics, open those dusty boxes in storage and drag out their family photo albums for “3-D Thursdays” at the museum in May.

Residents can celebrate Historic Preservation Month by bringing their Bainbridge Island artifacts and photos to the museum for its “3-D Thursdays” (donation/documentation/digitization) from 10 a.m. to 4 p .m. May 9, May 16 and May 23.

Curator Rick Chandler will be available to scan old photos, receive donations and confer on residents’ historic treasures. This is also an opportunity for the public to explore the state-of-the-art storage area in the basement of the museum.
