Gregory Wilson of Bainbridge Island has been awarded a degree at Montana State University.

A total of 733 MSU undergraduates received diplomas during the university’s 2016 fall commencement ceremony, held Dec. 17 in Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

John Heminway, a Montana-based writer and documentary filmmaker whose work has earned him two Emmys, two Peabody Awards and a duPont-Columbia University journalism award, among other honors, received an honorary doctorate in arts during the ceremony. He also delivered the charge to the graduates.
