Jay and Susan Wiggs of Bainbridge Island are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth, to Dave Maas, son of Dan Maas and Dr. Susan Ackland-Maas of Vancouver, B.C.

Elizabeth is a 2002 graduate of Bainbridge High School. Dave graduated in 2002 from St.George’s Preparatory School in Vancouver.

The couple met as undergrads at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. The groom-to-be is getting his law degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, and the bride-to-be is preparing to earn her MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.

A July 2009 wedding is planned.
