There will be a 40 percent chance of showers Saturday on Bainbridge, but the prospects for rain on Sunday are double that, according to the National Weather Service’s Seattle office.

Forecasters are predicting another wet weekend on Bainbridge Island.

It all starts with a 50 percent chance of showers on Friday.

On Saturday, there’s a 40 percent likelihood of rain. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 44 degrees.

The low temp will drop to around 39 Saturday night, and rain is expected to return Sunday morning before 10 a.m.

The chance of rain Sunday is 80 percent, and roughly a tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible.

The thermometer will top out around 45 degrees Sunday, and south/southwest winds of 10 to 14 mph are forecast.

Monday? More clouds, more rain. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
