Next First Sundays Concerts presents Baroque era music

First Sundays Concerts presents Sound Counterpoint, an ensemble of Baroque era instruments at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 5 at Waterfront Park Community Center.

Sound Counterpoint is comprised of Linda Melsted on violin, Curtis Foster on oboe, Miyo Aoki on recorder, and Jonathan Oddie on harpsichord. The program called The Red Earth Project was designed and curated by Seattle composer Adam Haws and is filled with music from the Baroque era, new music composed especially for the ensemble and arrangements of classics including jazz/blues tunes and popular tunes.
