Mystery author to visit Winslow bookstore

Tom Kelly, author of “Cold Crossover” will visit Eagle Harbor Book Company in downtown Winslow at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 to sign copies of and discuss his latest novel, “Hovering Above a Homicide.”

The latest book is the second in the Ernie Creekmore mystery series, which again feature the popular ex-basketball coach turned semi-sleuth character of Creekmore from the first installment.

The latest mystery sees Creekmore back in action when the body of a team parent is found in a vacant home for sale.

Before launching into fiction, Kelly served the Seattle Times readers for 20 years, first as a sportswriter and later as real estate reporter, columnist and editor. His weekly features now appear in a variety of newspapers including the Miami Herald, Houston Chronicle, Louisville Courier-Journal, Spokane Spokesman-Review plus hundreds of websites.
