Bainbridge native Katie Kuffel is seeking fundraising assistance through the online service kickstarter.com to complete production of two music videos and an 11-track studio album.

“I was born and raised on Bainbridge, and was very active in the music and arts scene while growing up there,” Kuffel said. “I’ve since moved to Seattle, to pursue a career in music. I’ve just launched a kickstarter to fund the making of two music videos and a full-length studio album.”

Kuffel said she is working with two island-based artists for this endeavor: filmmaker Matt Longmire and recording artist Johnny Bregar.

Having raised more than half of the necessary funds and with less than two weeks to go in her fundraising campaign, Kuffel said she is “reaching out to my hometown for support.”
