The nine musicians set to compete in the upcoming contest earned a spot at this prestigious event by winning their performance division at the regional contest back in February. They are Cristen McCann, Kathryn Tibbens, Hayden Tutty, Shelby Sundquist, John Smith, Nick Stahl, Cade Taylor, Kevin McCann, Henry Brown, Erik Appleberry and Max Weber.

Tickets for the concert are on sale. The cost is $35 for adults and $25 for students (limit of 20 total available).

The event will feature dinner from Metro Market, wine from Eleven Winery and a special performance by a community brass quintet. All adult tickets include one glass of wine.

All of the proceeds go to benefit the high school band program.

The concert is meant as both a fundraiser and live practice session for the top instrumentalists set to compete at state.
