KiDiMu to host holiday lineup of family fun

Three special holiday-themed Kids Discovery Museum events are set to take spread a bit of seasonal cheer this month.

The annual self-guided DIY gingerbread house workshop (free with admission or membership) will be going on from 12:30 to 2 p.m. weekdays, and from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, from Sunday, Dec. 9 through Saturday, Dec. 15.

Also, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, voices will be raised for the “KiDiMu in the Community” family caroling session.

All are invited for a singalong of seasonal favorites at the Madison Avenue House. Join KiDiMu to make memories and add a special tradition to your holiday season, while bringing joy to others. The day will begin with a special craft at 11 a.m. and the caroling will follow; lyrics books will be provided.

Finally, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, ring in the year new with Noon Year’s Eve, the annual countdown to the year’s last noon, complete with balloon drop. Attendance is free with membership or a day’s admission.
