The Island Film Group will gather for the movie “Serenity” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The group meets every second Wednesday for free films and discussion.

This month’s film is “Serenity,” a 2005 film that is set 500 years in the future. Captain Malcolm Reynolds and his crew take on any job that pays — even criminal assignments. The film is rated PG-13.
