A “Salsa Fresca” dance event is Saturday, June 16 at Island Center Hall.

The night kicks off at 7:30 p.m. pre-dance Salsa workshop mixer, with a dance to live Latin music featuring Malo Combo starting at 8:30 p.m. The program is sponsored by Bainbridge Island Parks & Rec; no pre-registration or partner is required. Dressy casual; shoes clean soles, no black marks. Snacks to share are welcome.

Doors open 7:15 p.m.; admission is $20 at the door.
