The Waterfront Book Group will talk about “What It Is Like to Go to War” by Karl Marlantes at the group’s next meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Waterfront Park Community Center.

Marlantes takes a deeply personal and candid look at the experience and ordeal of combat, critically examining how we might better prepare our young soldiers for war.

The group is free and open to everyone.
