Granted, times are tough, but no, it’s not what you think. Artists at Bainbridge Arts and Crafts have turned their creativity to the bottle, designing them and creating faux vintage labels.

“Vin Faux: Imaginary Wine Bottles,” is BAC’s August exhibit, and the reception is tonight from 6-8 p.m. With more than 26 participating artists, the gallery will be abuzz for the opening.

BAC also kicks off its free art demonstrations in the parking lot between Heart and Eagle Harbor Book Company. The demos are from 1-3 p.m. Saturdays in August. Artists include

Aug. 7: Sue Skelly – Basket Weaving; Aug. 14, Raquel Stanek – Mosaic; Aug. 21, Christopher Mathie – Painting; and Aug. 28 Barry McAlister – Slab Pottery.
