Thanks to community, teachers and so many others | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor: It’s the last semester of senior year, and like every other senior in the Bainbridge Island School District, we are ready to put on our graduation robes and see our names printed in fancy letters on those diplomas.

To the editor:

It’s the last semester of senior year, and like every other senior in the Bainbridge Island School District, we are ready to put on our graduation robes and see our names printed in fancy letters on those diplomas.

But it is time to say two words: Thank you.

Thank you to everyone in the Bainbridge Island School District that has brought us this far. There’s that old saying that it takes a village to raise a child, and on this island that has certainly been true.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us. You know who you are: janitors, bus drivers, principals, counselors, librarians, nurses, secretaries, security guards and especially teachers. Thank you for your kindness, and for putting up with us every single day, 180 days of the year. Here’s to you.

MEGAN GLEASON, BAILEY LIST, SARAH DALESSI, MILA LESH, MIA SMITH, CATHERINE EDWARDS, ROWAN ATHERLEY, ANDIE MITCHELL AND ARIEL CHERNÉ

Bainbridge High Class of 2014

P.S. And please take a moment to vote for the levy, because Mr. Holland needs a better computer.
