Thanks to all, our needy families were helped | Letters | Jan. 1

Our wonderful community came through again with enough Thanksgiving food supplies to provide Thanksgiving meals to 225 families! The best reward for all the Helpline volunteers was the sincere appreciation shown by families coming by to pick up the boxes of produce that would make it possible for them to serve a Thanksgiving meal.

It is all of you who donate to this cause, however, that Helpline House would like to acknowledge and appreciate: All of you who took fliers from the BHS National Honor Society students in T&C and then donated bags of groceries; all of you families who created beautiful boxes with candles and special holiday napkins to share with another family; all of you who took the time to come by and drop off bags of produce or who bought turkey/holiday cards; all of you neighbors, who took the time to help another neighbor.

We are grateful to so many organizations from nursery schools to bakeries to faith organizations to banks. Please see our Web site at www.helplinehouse.org for a complete list of all groups who so generously donated to Project Wishbone. Thank you from Helpline House to all of our good neighbors.
