To the editor:
A big shout out to the Bainbridge Island community for participating, sponsoring, attending and enjoying our annual Trick or Treat Downtown event.
Oct. 31 is a special day in Downtown Bainbridge, where kids of all ages enjoy the hospitality of downtown merchants who dress up and distribute candy. Attendance was estimated at 4,000 happy trick-or-treaters and the attendees were treated to a flash mob, BHS band, spooky organ music, complimentary cider, and the opportunity to “touch” a firetruck.
It is truly a unique and wonderful Halloween event and we deeply appreciate the opportunity of showcasing our vibrant downtown to locals and visitors alike.
