To the editor:

To letter writers Mary Dombrowski and Pete Brady — when it comes to religion, stay out of my family’s business. My wife, state Sen. Christine Rolfes, is not Catholic. I am Catholic.

Attacking my wife in the local paper for her votes or her political positions is fair, but attacking my family’s religion — which is essentially what you did — is not.

To the readers of this letter – if you have concerns about my wife’s position on abortion, or any other issue, I urge you to contact her directly at rolfes.christine@leg.wa.gov. She works really hard and she cares.
