It’s not Vern’s Drug Store — it’s now Justin’s! | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Islanders should vote yes on Prop. 1 | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

Recently a painful rash startled me to rush to Urgent Care at Winslow Virginia Mason Clinic.

I feared shingles, which, if treated immediately, is less severe, less painful, and of a shorter duration. It was indeed herpes zoster. I was in and out of the clinic in less than an hour and immediately next door at Winslow Drug, where I promptly received the medication and for less than $20.

Pharmacist Justin Ausmeier has proved to be helpful, thoughtful, smart, and professional — just like the rest of the staff.

We are indeed fortunate to have a great pharmacy (with wonderful cards, souvenirs, etc.) right on Winslow Way next to a clinic. Let’s not let all of our main street turn into tourist shops. Please. Even if you just need Band-Aids, go to Justin’s Drug Store.
