Filmmaking on island is fun, challenging | Letters | Sept. 10

Making films on and about Bainbridge Island can be an engaging and rewarding experience. I include those among us who have taken up the challenge, the task and the fun.

I look forward to our current video film production of “Bad Girls,” a remake of Ed Wood’s “The Troubled Years” (1956), filmed by co-producers Burney Hill, Chuck Conti, Steve Stolee and Tom Fowler for this year’s 2011 Celluloid Bainbridge Film Festival.

It is coming down as a terrific experience in learning the art, and the missteps, of making a dramatic movie. Keep your eyes open and watch our progess.
