To the editor:

As you reported in the May 17 issue of the Review, I am running for re-election as park commissioner.

However, contrary to what was reported in your article, I am

67 years old — not 77. I was born in December 1945 as the direct result of my father’s two-week leave after three years of military service overseas.

And while there are some days when I feel 77, I am happy to say they are not common.
