To the editor:

Your support for Bob and his family has been so appreciated after his death last week. His memorial service will be forthcoming, probably in a couple of months, coordinated with Bob’s venerable thanks to Steve Stolee.

Meanwhile, many of you would like to pay tribute, and he would like to say he supported : OXFAM, KUOW, Illandtime, and Helpline.

He didn’t say this, but most of all he supported friends in need. If former students or friends came with financial difficulties he always said yes, with the promise of repayment a handshake. If it worked out, fine, if not, no judgement.

So he would like folks to contribute in this way. Help out your friends in need first.
