The Strides for Solidarity event on Saturday, May 10, 2014 benefitting Partners In Health was a great success. We had 150 people register and we raised over $3,000!

The fundraising event was my senior project and I am very grateful to many of those for helping this event to be a success.

Business’s that donated to the event were: Island Fitness, adplanet.com, Island Sports, Blinx, Bainbridge Cinemas/Lynnwood Theater, Blackbird Bakery, Casa Rojas, Churchmouse, Pegasus, Eagle Harbor Book Company, Mora, Westside Pizza and Bon Bon.

People who supported me were the Bainbridge Island Partners In Health team, the BHS Social Justice League, Bainbridge High School administrators, Lynn Brofsky from Brofsky Design, Sundance Rogers from Virginia Mason, J.C. Figueroa and his Smoothie truck, Paul Leonetti and Alex Fling, and several friends.

Also a very special thanks to Laura Van Dyke.
