To the editor:

The Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island would like to extend a huge thank you to Bainbridge Gardens for the 22nd Annual Pumpkin Walk! Bainbridge Gardens works so hard to plan and implement this wonderful community event that raises money to help support the Boys & Girls Club. The trail of beautifully carved pumpkins was impressive to say the least, but the three vignettes (Pokémon, Peanuts and Cinderella) were really the highlight. Donna Harui and the staff at Bainbridge Gardens really go above and beyond to make this such a remarkable island tradition.

This event would not have been possible without the help of our volunteers. Every year we have a group of Rotarians, Kiwanians, Boys & Girls Club board members, high school students, friends and family that come out to lend a hand. We cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work. We would also like to extend a large thank you to Wells Fargo for sponsoring the ever popular Bounce House and for sending volunteers on both nights to help out.

Finally, we would like to thank all of those who attended the Pumpkin Walk this year. The donations were so generous and really show how this community comes together to support the things they believe in.

We are so grateful and proud to say that the money raised will honestly make a huge impact in the lives of children in our community. On behalf of the members, staff and board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island, thank you!
