A time for healing, not vindictiveness | Letters | June 12

It seems there has been some misunderstanding.

The recent vote was about the form of government we think appropriate for the island at this time, not about individuals.

Bill, Debbie and this Koss character are way off base in ventilating about their personal animosities and perceptional differences with our ex-mayor, Darlene.

This is a time for reflection on how we want to govern from here on, in light of what we’ve learned over the past several years.

And, of course those that will be assuming the responsibilites for representation on regional boards and committee assignments, whether asumed by the new mayor or by the new manager, should look to Darlene for guidance in the transition period between now and the end of her availability.

Let’s pause give thought to proper roles and relationships.
