The renowned acapella quarter Momma’s Boys will visit Bainbridge Island in a special one-night only concert presented by Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge.

The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at Rolling Bay Hall.

Momma’s Boys is composed of four Kelly brothers who hail from the Seattle area. Growing up in a home surrounded by music, Momma’s Boys consists of the four oldest of the Kelly boys: Michael, Sean, Steven and Ian.

Ian Kelly (lead) is the youngest and he has performed internationally as an acapella and musical theatre performer. His other brothers – Sean (baritone), Steven (tenor) and Michael (bass) round out the quartet.

“Ovation! is hosting this special concert because the extremely talented young man playing Juan Peron in our upcoming production of ‘Evita,’ Ian Kelly, is a member of this quartet along with three of his older brothers,” said Lynn Smith, a member of the Ovation! board of directors.

“This sparked our imagination — four young Puget Sound area men — hugely talented brothers who are renowned acapella singers,” Smith said. “They have qualified for the International Barbershop Quartet Contest in Las Vegas and we wanted to give them a proper send-off and hear their amazing music.”

Momma’s Boys has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada, with stops including Philadelphia, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Portland, Toronto and Vancouver.

“We hope to see lots of people come out for this fun, all-ages concert and hear some spectacular vocal performances by one of the country’s leading quartets,” added Ron Milton, Ovation! artistic director.

“It’s also a great opportunity to see, hear and meet Ian Kelly who is performing as Colonel Peron in ‘Evita’ this summer and who is running an acapella camp for youth performers this August for Ovation!” he added.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/children and will be available at the door.

Rolling Bay Hall is at 10598 NE Valley Road.
