Kids Museum
Kids Discovery Museum is hosting a virtual event April 5-11 across Bainbridge Island.
KiDiMu’s Explore Bainbridge will spark children’s curiosity through play and experiential learning.
“We recognized that many island families are sticking close to home this spring break,” executive director Corinne Wolffe said. “At the same time many regional families will be visiting Bainbridge for a close-to-home getaway. We wanted to provide a taste of KiDiMu and a fun, engaging socially distanced activity during our facility’s closure.”
Explore Bainbridge invites children ages 3-8 and their families to visit 10 favorite destinations around the island through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities. Children will hypothesize which living animals live on the Grand Forest floor, build sculptures out of driftwood at Fay Bainbridge and more.
Families can purchase an activity book for $20 at kidimu.org/explore.
