A crowd of nearly 300 jammed Lytle Beach Monday and the bravest among them raced into the frigid waters of Puget Sound for the “polar bear” plunge on the first day of 2018.
Warm towels, high fives, cheers and a few beers awaited the short-time swimmers on the shore.
