State Senator Cyrus Habib, a candidate for Washington State Lieutenant Governor will hold a campaign event Saturday at the Treehouse Café.

The gathering is from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23.

Habib, a Democrat and 48th District lawmaker, has pressed the issues of income inequality, the opportunity gap, and climate change.

He said he is running for Lieutenant Governor to lead the Washington State Senate in a more collaborative direction, and to use the office to reach out to communities across the state.

Habib has been endorsed by Attorney General Bob Ferguson, Washington Education Association, Washington Conservation Voters, Democratic party organizations, and business and civic leaders across Washington.

The Treehouse Café is located at 4569 Lynwood Center Road NE.
